The foundation of our great nation was built by emerging entrepreneurs.

Our founding fathers were entrepreneurs; they created not only our Constitution but the framework of our U.S. economy. It took ingenuity and persistence to show the world and even our own citizens that freedom does not come easy. They were courageous, strong visionaries who wanted more control of their lives and their destiny, in other words, entrepreneurs.

Since our founding, every U.S. business, including major corporations that make up our U.S. economy, began as a vision of one or more entrepreneurs. They were willing to take a risk and persistent enough to forge through, over, or around any obstacle.

Entrepreneurs are creative thinkers and have ingenuity and it’s these very traits that enable them to weather the storm, be they economic or political challenges. Entrepreneurs are the backbone, lifeblood and heroes of our free enterprise system and the U.S. economy. They should be celebrated, honored, encouraged and thanked.

The baby boomers are the largest generational segment of the U.S. population. They are retiring and eventually (even though they don’t believe it) expiring. It is important for the next generation of entrepreneurs to step up and continue the legacy of our free enterprise system to win the race against big government and to oppose the type restrictive economic conditions that our founding fathers fled from over 235 years ago.

Our free enterprise system is the basis of our U.S. economy.
