The Camaraderie Foundation, a nonprofit that provides private counseling to service members and their families nationwide, teamed up with Fifth Third Bank to recognize our service members. In honor of of thousand of Bay Area troops - 20,677 American flags were placed at MacDill Park to represent Tampa Bay veterans, which includes Pinellas County.

Steve Harris has joined the St. Armands office of Michael Saunders & Company, where he will continue his longtime specialty of selling fine residential properties. Harris is an Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), a graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI) and Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES). In his off hours, he has helped run fishing tournaments for area youths; and has been an active member of the Sarasota Environmental Aquatics Team helping with sea grass surveying and scallop seeding in Sarasota Bay.

Jim Cullum, a reverse mortgage specialist, has joined Blue Skye Lending, a full service mortgage brokerage firm based in Lakewood Ranch. His goal is to educate seniors about the potential benefits of reverse mortgages, and to help determine if this kind of loan program is right for them. Reverse mortgages are a loan product for people over the age of 62 that converts the equity in their home into cash, enabling them to receive a monthly income stream.
