Are You
Attractive?
by Bevv Beirl
Are you attractive? More than you would ever imagine.
Not only are you attractive, you are magnetic!!!
Take a walk on Clearwater Beach, open any magazine, or
observe the signs and billboards on Dale Mabry or US 19
and you will find proof positive that our society is
obsessed with outer attractiveness. Botox, body
contouring, hair transplants, and slimming fashions, are
just a few examples of how we think about becoming more
attractive on the outside.
But did you know that even if you ignored everything to
improve your outward physical appearance, and even if
you were downright ugly, you would still be attractive?
The million-dollar question is, “What are you
attracting?”
For centuries the geniuses have understood and utilized
a law that can quite literally change your life forever.
Some of the greats who harnessed and used this law were
Emerson, Einstein, Edison, Carnegie, Dr. King, Waitley,
Proctor, and Canfield. The list could go on for pages;
however, the important thing to realize is that not only
have past greats used this law, but the contemporaries
also have a working knowledge of the law and have been
very candid and forthcoming in letting us know that the
law will work for anyone!
“What this power is I cannot
say. All I know is that it exists.”
-Alexander Graham Bell
Every second of every day
you are transmitting a feeling, or vibration, and that
vibration can only be positive or negative. The law of
attraction is very obedient and will respond to your
vibration with the same vibration. Our goal is to
practice deliberate positive vibrations. It’s really
more than “thinking positively”; it’s visualizing and
feeling positive.
In the 80’s & 90’s Denis Waitley, Ph.D., took the
knowledge he had gained from the Apollo space missions
and utilized it with Olympic athletes. He called it
“visual motor rehearsal”. He would attach electrodes to
athletes and measure what was happening in the brain
along with what was happening in the muscles. By simply
visualizing a race or physical competition, the
athlete’s appropriate muscles would fire for that
activity. The mind could not distinguish between a
visualized or real competition.
What you are experiencing in your life, relationships,
career or financial situation is a direct result of what
you were thinking and feeling prior to the condition.
Wow!! That’s pretty in-your-face and, most likely, will
have some of you huffing and puffing in denial. But
whether you believe in or understand the law of
attraction, it exists and is checking into your
vibrations every second.
So how do we harness this universal law of attraction
and create the life, partner, bank account, health or
career of our dreams? Jack Canfield, author of Chicken
Soup for the Soul has a simple recipe.
-
Decide what you want Believe
you can have it
-
Believe you deserve it
-
Believe it’s possible for
you
-
Everyday visualize what you
want, and feel the feelings you would have if you
already had it
-
Always work from a feeling
of gratitude and focus on the things you already possess
for which you are thankful
-
Then release it to the
universe for the universe to decide how to manifest your
desires
If all of this sounds a
little abstract, it may be a little more difficult for
you to change your current situation. It takes a leap of
faith and a little thinking outside the societal box to
create your desired life. As you know, every great and
successful man or woman was willing to do something a
little different from the crowd to accomplish his goals.
You are just as creative and attractive as DaVinci,
Trump, Oprah or Buffet. The only difference between you
and them is that they believe they are creative and
successful. They radiate positive vibrations of success
that attract exactly what they want.
